Quarter 1 classes

1. Math Through the Years: Parents will learn how math progresses in skill and

difficulty in the upper grades and will focus on fractions, geometry and algebra.

2. Parents Growing Together (PGT): This class helps parents understand child

development and use positive discipline to help manage children’s behavior.

Oct. 14, 21, 28, Nov. 4, 8, and Dec. 2, 9

A celebration will be held the last day of class.

3. Make-It/Take It Lab Parents will make games and study aids to use at home to

support their children with their homework assignments. Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

4. Math Through the Years: Parents will learn how math progresses in skill and

5. Get your child organized for homework! Learn to maximize their child’s time, get them focused for homework and use positive discipline to manage their behavior.

6. Make-It/Take It Lab: Parents will make games and study aids to use at home to

Prizes! Free books are given as prizes at the end of every class. Parents with good attendance qualify for a gift certificate of $25 to $100 during the family celebration held on the last day of class.

How many children need childcare?

Every child up to 4 years old or who weighs under 40 lbs. must have a car seat to ride on the bus. No exceptions.
