8:15-10:15 a.m.

Everyone a Reader volunteers work one hour a week to help O.B. students become fluent readers. We will train you to work one-on-one with a child (or children) in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade. The children read books at their instructional reading level while you listen and assist them in practicing new reading strategies. This extra practice and strategies helps the child become a better reader.

Everyone a Reader tutors truly value the friendships they form with O.B. students because they know they are making a positive difference to help children become better readers.
