A Midsummer Nights Dream FREE Performance

The Point Loma Actors and the Merchants of Liberty Station Marketplace are pleased to announce the inaugural performance of Shakespeare's beloved A Midsummer Night’s Dream this summer at Liberty Station, directed by Hannah Ryan. The free performances will be presented on Friday, August 8, Saturday, August 16th and Friday, August 22nd. All performances will begin at 8 p.m. and will be held on the grassy historic Promenade in front of the fountain located behind Panera Bread, Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza and Tender Greens.

 

Liberty Station Marketplace and the Point Loma Actors are excited to offer a fantastic cultural experience for members of the community- a live theatrical performance outdoors featuring one of Shakespeare's best known plays! David Sein, producer of the Point Loma Actors production says, “We are pleased to present free theatre to the community and our acting company is thrilled to perform outdoors at Liberty Station. The play will be staged in the late 1960's and will include audience participation. This is a first for us and we would love to see a great turn out!"
