Hello San Diego Unified families,

This Saturday, January 24th, a Magnet Schools Fair will be held at the Recital Hall in Balboa Park, next to the Puppet Theater. This free event will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature 32 magnet and other programs under one roof, and student performances throughout the day. Staff will be on hand with information ranging from preschool options to high school Career Planning Guides.

A second All Schools Fair will be held the following Saturday on January 31st at the same location. This fair will include magnet schools, neighborhood schools and other enrollment options.

Whether you or someone you know has a child ready to enter kindergarten, middle or high school, or if you’d like to learn about all enrollment options at San Diego Unified, we welcome you. Remember, the School Choice application deadline for Fall 2009 is February 15th for all current district students.
