The DALLAS BRASS has performed throughout the world for over two decades, bringing the highest level of classical training to a vast repertoire including American classical, Dixieland, swing, Broadway, Hollywood and patriotic music. Beyond their solo engagements, they have appeared with symphony orchestras nationwide, performed in Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and in Europe and the Far East; on television and for two presidents. They have many recordings to their credit, including American Musical Journey, released this year and featuring much of the music from their current touring production.

 

 In their visit here, they will be performing with the Correia and Dana school bands and orchestra, as well as providing an extensive clinic for all of our music students during the day. The second half of the concert will start with a performance of "American Tableau" featuring the Symphonic Band from Dana Middle School, and conclude with "Tejas" featuring the Correia Middle School Symphonic Band and String Orchestra.
