Location: Ann Tripp Jackson Theater (Dana Auditorium)

Dana’s Musical Theatre class, directed by Mr. Cobb, will present “Guys & Dolls Jr.” on May 29th at 7:00 p.m.  “Guys and Dolls” is based on the stories of the mid-twentieth century writer, Damon Runyan.  It tells the romantic story of gambler Sky Masterson and Sgt. Sarah Brown of the Save-a-Soul Mission.  Sixth graders Ben H. and Emilie C. play Sky and Sarah.  We also see the story of the 14-year engagement of Nathan Detroit (played by Cole S.) and Miss Adelaide (played by Jessica M.)  This is the Broadway Junior version and has been edited for length, but it still contains this classic show’s great songs: If I Were a Bell, Sit Down You’re Rocking the Boat, Luck Be a Lady, Adelaide’s Lament, and A Bushel and a Peck, along with the show’s rousing title song.

Tickets are $7 and can be ordered online from showboxoffice.com or at Dana Middle the night of the show for cash or check purchases only.
