Second Site Master Planning Meeting
The second Site Master Planning meeting for Point Loma High School will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, January 25, in the Library at Point Loma High School, 2335 Chatsworth Blvd., San Diego, CA 92106. S and beyond. Site-Specific Bond Project List needs were identified through a comprehensive planning process, which included input from school site representatives to cluster meetings, district departments, and other assessment measures: http://old.sandi.net/bond/ssbpl/ssbpl0354a.pdf The second community meeting is being held this Monday, January 25th at 6:00 pm in the PLHS library. A key element of this interactive planning session includes community input on the size and location of stadium bleacher expansion, restroom facilities and on-campus parking - which could impact the overall campus master plan. Architect Fernando Mesquita of Mesquita & Associates has been retained to develop the master plan. He will be assisted by District-retained traffic engineer consultants Kim Lee Horn to look at vehicular circulation and drop off alternatives. It is vital to have ALL stakeholders -- PLHS administration, teachers, coaches, ASB leadership, students, SSC, IGT, sports associations, band association, etc. -- and parents from all of our Pt. Loma Cluster Schools -- actively involved in the process to ensure that Pt. Loma High School's needs are met. PLEASE make every effort to participate starting this Monday.
