Glen Fisher Con Alma featuring Grammy winning trombone legend Bill Watrous. Come check this out! It will be an amazing concert with John Rekevics on saxophone & flute, Lynn Willard on keyboard, Carlos Vasquez on drums, and Glen Fisher on bass with special guest Dave Scott.

Bill Watrous will be in town for three days of workshops, assemblies, and a final concert with the Correia Middle School Jazz band. They will be backed up by Glen Fisher Con Alma. Fisher has already done several workshops at the school, bringing in accomplished artists. Two days prior to the assemblies the students will have a chance to work with Watrous, local saxophone legend John Rekevics, local musician and weatherman Dave Scott, and the director of the First Friday Music Club, bassist Glen Fisher. The workshop, the assemblies and the concert on Friday night at Tango Del Rey are sponsored by the First Friday Club and made possible by a grant from Sanyo.

Please come Wednesday night to Humphrey’s and support projects, bringing artists into our community and getting students exposed to professional artists. Wednesday night will be a fun, high-energy concert by Glen Fisher Con Alma with Grammy winner Bill Watrous, which you don’t want to miss!
