The Point Loma Actors Theatre will stage Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, an intricate and compelling Off-Broadway musical. The show will run for 3 performances from Friday, February 19 through Sunday February 21. Curtain times are Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m., and Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. The venue is Point Loma Assembly, located at 3035 Talbot Street, Point Loma. Tickets are $15 for Adults. Seniors, Students, and Military enjoy a discounted price of just $12.

 

The songs of Jacques Brel are brought to life in this musical cabaret experience. The Point Loma Actors Workshop is honoring Jacques Brel, a legendary Belgian and French songwriter, by portraying and interpreting his musical compositions, which deal with satire, moral conviction, and fervid love. The show is directed by David Sein.

 

Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris was originally produced at the Village Gate Theatre in Greenwich Village New York, and ran for over four years. It was later produced at several other Carnegie Hall New York venues including.
