My Girlfriend’s Closet is hosting an informational meeting for mothers and daughters interested in: -Making a Difference in their Community -Developing Leadership Skills - Working together to help Disadvantaged Teen Girls -Being part of a grassroots professional organization with lasting impact on the lives of the recipients as well as the volunteers! Please Join us for a Get Acquainted Reception Saturday, January 29, 2011 11:00am-12:30pm (Program is structured so please be prompt) Point Loma/Hervey Library 3701 Voltaire St, 92107 Please invite other Mothers and Daughters (grades 7-12) county-wide who would like to learn about us too! No obligation, No joining fees, Just a charitable heart is needed. We are also accepting your gently used teen clothing at this event and year round. This shared responsibility structure empowers the girls to make important decisions, nurtures leadership qualities, provides event planning skills and supervisory experience. My Girlfriend’s Closet recently received the 10News Leadership Award! Come be a part of this rewarding Charity! (next Sorting and Distribution Event is February/March 2011)
