Sunset View Elementary won the California Fresh & Easy contest for the 2nd year in a row! Competition was stiff this year, as our school competed against over 1000 other schools all across our state. Fresh & Easy will be presenting a check for $10,815 to Kids First at Sunset View on April 14th, and the prize money will go to directly fund enrichment and educational programs such as the computer technology program, VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts), and teacher aides. Schools that did not win, but participated will also get to keep the revenue they earned from receipts collected up to $5000 per school. Thanks to Fresh & Easy for their community support!
