Join in on Bike to work/school day, and get out of your car!  Join students on their way to school.

A nationally recognized event, Bike to Work Day supports bicycling as a viable, environmentally-friendly commute choice. The event occurs annually on the third Friday of May, which is National Bike Month.

The benefits of active transportation include, but ins not limited to:

• improving air quality and the environment

• improving children's health, increased physical activity, and help combat childhood obesity

• instilling healthy habits in children's commute decisions
