Play It Safe Defense Class

Are you looking for a self defense class that teaches children techniques to deal with bullies and strangers?

 

There will be a Play It Safe Defense class at Loma Portal on Friday, June 10 from 3:30-5:30pm. The cost is $15.00 per child and all children in grades K-4th are welcome.

 

Tracie Arlington teaches the class. She has been featured on many talk shows and worked with countless scout troops and children. This 2 hour course is designed to teach children through role-play and repetitive hands-on training the importance of awareness and setting appropriate boundaries. Students practice their techniques against a "mock" bully and a "mock" stranger in age appropriate play scenarios.

 

PlayItSafe provides powerful skills to teach children to recognize inappropriate behavior and to trust their instincts when someone or something doesn't feel right.
