Ocean Beach is celebrating Ocean Beach’s 125th Anniversary. For two days leading up to OB Beach Ball event, we will have a giant Ferris Wheel full of lights in Saratoga Park in Ocean Beach (corner of Santa Monica Ave and Abbott St). The Ferris Wheel will be running all day from Noon until 10pm. 20% of the Ferris Wheel ticket sales will be going to Point Loma Cluster Schools. The tickets are $5 each at the Wheel.
Remember, this special day will be Thursday, May 17th from noon to 10pm.
FYI - The Ferris Wheel and a giant Water Slide will be running from Wednesday, May 16th through Friday May 18th. On Saturday May 19th and Sunday May 20th the Ferris Wheel will continue.
Saturday, May 19th is the big event, OB Beach Ball, with Volleyball, Sports competitions, vendors, food, bands and eating contests.
