Safe Journey’s: Life Saving Lessons Presentation

Teenage drivers are encouraged to attend the Safe Journey’s: Life Saving Lessons Presentation on June 11th from 6pm to 7:30pm at the Ballard Parent Center.  See the attached flyer for details.

 

According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the largest number of teen involved car crashes

occur in the summer months of June, July, and August.  Because the San Diego Unified School District Police Department wants all teen drivers to be safe this summer, we invite you to attend a safe driving program for 15-19 year old teen drivers, soon-to-be drivers, and their parents.  The program addresses the primary causes of accidents and what teen drivers can do to reduce their chances of being involved in serious and sometimes fatal crashes.
