EngagePL | A Tale of A Charter School - RSVP Now!

You are invited to attend Engage PL | A Tale of a Charter School on Wednesday September 26, 2012 at 6:30pm at the Liberty Station Marriott Conference Center.

We are honored that Dr. Kevin Riley, Executive Director of Mueller Charter School and author of The Lights of El Milagro and will share stories on the journey, trials, tribulations and successes of charter school governance.

Mueller Charter School is a conversion charter school. Charter schools are public schools which can offer schools control over governance, budget, curriculum and programs.

Also joining the discussion will be Loni Philbrick-Linzmeyer a former teacher at Correia Middle School who is currently a 9th grade teacher at High Tech High in Chula Vista. The program will feature a panel discussion, followed by a question and answer session for attendees.

Teachers, parents, principals, staff and community stakeholders are all invited!  This will be a community dialogue and a wonderful opportunity as we continue to learn and explore.  There is no charge to attend.
