If you are interested about the cub scouts,this is a very opportune time as we are forming the first Ocean Beach Den, which will be part of Pack 546. Our Den will be number 10. We are currently in the process of getting our permits and are very confident our Tiger cub meetings will be held in our very own Ocean Beach elements. Den meetings will likely be once a month at 6:30 pm on the fourth Tuesday of every month and will last one hour. he goal is to also have a outing each month for at total of up to three events each month. Annual dues are $85 and about 75% of that goes back to the boy in the way of Pack events and awards. However, if you are unable to pay that money, there are scholarships and financial aid available. Boy Scouts of America does not want any child to miss out on joining due to finances. We do have one fundraising event per year and that is our "Fellers Cake Bake and Auction". This event is for the boys to make their own cake and then auction it off at one of the upcoming Pack Meetings. This will occur at Novembers meeting.
