Please join us Saturday, December 6th, for our 15th annual Garrison Street Hot Chocolate for Charity.  This year we’re raising money for Dylan Fortier, a 24 year old Ocean Beach resident who is in need of a kidney transplant.  If you have shopped at Stumps you might know or recognize Dylan.  He's a valued employee who has endured health challenges since the age of 2. Dylan had a kidney transplant at age 13 that is now failing, requiring dialysis and hospitalization on a regular basis.   Dylan graduated from Point Loma High School, class of 2008.  His family is local to Point Loma spanning three generations making us very proud to help a neighbor in need.  We look forward to seeing you December 6th and thank you in advance for your support.  Also, we know this is the same night as the OB Holiday parade and we're hopeful that you will come after the parade, many of the floats come down our street that night so you can enjoy the parade twice and support Dylan too!

The money we raise will help fund Dylan's expenses related to his kidney failure.

Here’s how you can help us make a difference!?


1. Help us get the word out (email, social & print media, word of mouth)


2.  Show up with friends and family on December 6 to buy hot cocoa, treats or make a donation.


3.  Sign-up at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0a44a8aa2d6-cocoa to bring baked goods or an item needed for the event.


If you sign up to bring something, please drop it off by Thursday, December 4, with the exception of baked goods. Individually wrapped bake goods can be dropped off anytime on Saturday, December 6.  Please leave all items on the porch of 3631 Garrison (Ybarra’s house).



4.  Donations:  We can accepts donations online at http://gfwd.at/1vo1MgU 

or checks can be written to Lola Mattraya (Dylan's Mother), and dropped off at the event or sent to:  Garrison Street Fundraiser, c/o Kerry Peter, 3603 Garrison Street, San Diego, CA  92106.
