Last Day of School

2013-14 school calendars add another day !for instruction!

the Board of Education are pleased to announce that the district has partnered with the

San Diego Education Association (SDEA) to restore an instructional day to the 2013-14

school year, bringing the total number of instructional days to 179. This restoration

assures that our students receive maximum educational impact and

have increased opportunity for success.!

Below is the restoration plan for the 2013-14 school year.!

Traditional Schools: June 13, 2014, is now an instructional day and

the last day of school for students.!

Please Note: Schools have the option to change their graduation/promotion to Friday,

June13. PLHS has already planned their promotion/graduation for Thursday, June 12,

so will keep that date as planned. Students should return for a final instructional day

on Friday, June 13.
